Since discovering the Enneagram and it changing my entire life over a decade ago, I believe it is the most relationally transformative personality system available.

Because it describes the characteristics, behaviors, and core values of nine different personality types—Enneatypes—each identified by a number, it illuminates your biggest strengths and greatest challenges — offering a growth path for every person.

“The Enneagram & You: Understand Your Personality Type and How It Can Transform Your Relationships by Gina Gomez brings together a broad range of Enneagram wisdom into one classy guide.

This book holds the key to unlocking the connection, communication, and partnership you have been looking for in your personal and professional relationships.

Let’s dive in! The typing quiz at the beginning is super helpful. The book also includes a nice expanded introduction of the Enneagram, including Triads and Centers. For each type, the author offers helpful tips on how to engage with them at home, in love, and at work. These tips include how to support them, their needs, what to be grateful for, effective communication, and conflict resolution.

The author also includes a section on Triads for each type, which summed up much of the information that is scattered among other Enneagram sources, making this book a wealth of information.

The focus of this book is definitely relationships and how to get along with others. The second half is dedicated to type combinations in all types of relationships.

If you want to use the Enneagram to up your game in relationships, this is the book for you! I have already used it to help teams improve their working relationships!”

A WEALTH OF ENNEAGRAM KNOWLEDGE

GINA GOMEZ IS UNIQUELY AWARE OF OTHERS!

“I can not tell you ENOUGH -- how many times I have recommended this book.
Gina Gomez is highly personable, highly aware, highly attuned, while also being highly philosophical/thought-provoking in theories of the Enneagram. I found that breaking down each piece, though the layout was simple, created a depth to the simplicity of the layout.

Understanding that we all have conflict styles, internal processing styles, and moments of strength/survival makes me feel like a way more developed Four in my own skin.
I have been reading her book + Chris Huertz's new text Belonging and the Enneagram.
It feels like sitting with two friends, both of them writing deeply from their own unique ways of being.

Gina is healing the hearts of many people with each new project she honors us with.
I'll continue to support her vision and continue sharing this book.

**If you haven't been to one of her teachings online, I want you to delete your review...join a session...read her book again, and come back. You'll have such a new perspective seeing her, hearing her, and then reading a book that mirrors who she is. **

Sparks I can leave with Gina: Well, besides the fact that we all want more books by you. I could see that most of the text had some speakings on relationships -- work and otherwise. I felt in some ways I wanted to hear more from each type...so maybe next time have even more pages! I at least am ready for that. :) I have nothing more to say...and I am unsure if that was even a criticism. Keep shining.”
